Privacy Policy

Written in plain English for insurance professionals.

1. The short version

We process your submission document to score it, then discard the document content. We never store the text of your documents or the COPE values inside them in readable form. Your score and grade are saved to your account; the full result is stored encrypted and readable only by you.

2. What happens to your submission document

Uploaded PDFs and pasted text are processed entirely in memory. The document content is sent to the Claude API for extraction and scoring, then discarded. We do not write your document to disk and we do not retain it.

3. What we store — and what we never store

We store: your account credentials (password hashed with bcrypt), check metadata (mode, score, grade, date), wallet and transaction records, and support messages.

We never store: document content, extracted COPE field values in readable form, property addresses, or insured names.

4. Encrypted result storage

Your full check result is stored encrypted with a key derived per user. Only your authenticated account can decrypt it. No COPEscore employee can read your reports.

5. Claude API and Anthropic

Extraction and scoring use Anthropic's Claude API. API data is not used to train models. See anthropic.com/privacy.

6. Who we share data with

Razorpay processes payments. Resend delivers our emails. No submission content is shared with anyone.

7. Data retention

Account data is retained while your account is active plus 24 months, then deleted on request.

8. GDPR rights (EEA users)

You have the right to access, rectify, export, and erase your personal data. Contact us to exercise these rights.
